Customer Service Delivery & Returns

Due to a major earthquake in the South Island of New Zealand, there has been disruption to the local delivery network across the country. Due to this unfortunate event, we are temporarily unable to offer our South Island Priority service, and expect delays on all other services across the country. We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause.


Christmas Delivery

To ensure you receive your order before Christmas, please refer to the cut-off dates by region below.

  • South Island – Thursday 14th December
  • North Island– Friday 15th December
  • Auckland Local, North Island City, South Island City – Sunday 17th December 2.00pm

Postage and Delivery

Goods will be delivered on business days. No deliveries will be made on weekends or public holidays.

We recommend either a work address (please include full business name, receivers name and other relevant details), please note we do not deliver to PO Box addresses.

We deliver by PBT. Goods may not be delivered next day due to circumstances (such as adverse weather, strikes etc.) beyond the control of Peter Alexander or PBT.

STANDARD DELIVERY - $8.99 NZD

For next day delivery to Auckland and North Island cities you must place your order by 2pm (New Zealand Daylight Savings Time) on any business day. Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be dispatched on the next business day.

We deliver via PBT with an authority to leave. We recommend either a work address for prompt delivery (please include full business name, receivers name and other relevant details). Orders can not be delivered to PO BOX delivery adresses.

If no one is available upon delivery at your nominated delivery address (work or private) the parcel will be left in a secure spot on the premises, or a card will be left notifying you of alternative pick up arrangements.

Pending credit card authorisation, verification and availability of stock, please allow 1 to 4 business days for delivery within New Zealand.

HOW CAN I TRACK THE PROGRESS OF MY ORDER?

Log into your account and select My Orders for a list of previous orders. You can simply enter your order number or use the date range to search for specific orders. Click the order number you wish to track; this will display your order details including the status and tracking numbers. If your order has been shipped, click on the tracking/date link for further information on your order. You will be redirected to the PBT website for tracking.

Please note you can only begin to track your order after it has been shipped. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email from us which includes your PBT delivery reference number.

Important Information

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. Strikes, floods etc.). All colours of garments are reproduced as accurately as possible, however a slight variation may occur in colour and size specifications. Colours may appear slightly different via this web site due to computer picture resolution and individual monitor settings. Offers are available until stocks sell out.

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT

  • To cancel any order, at which time we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the details provided. We will refund all monies paid using the original method received.

OUR REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

In addition to your Statutory Rights, should you change your mind we will happily exchange or refund providing the following conditions have been met:

  1. The items with the original receipt are returned within 30 days of purchase.
  2. Items must be in original condition as purchased, with all labels/tickets attached. Garments must not have been worn.

HOW TO GET A REFUND OR MAKE AN EXCHANGE

PURCHASES MADE IN STORE

Purchases made in a Peter Alexander New Zealand retail store (including purchases in an New Zealand store for delivery to you) can be returned or exchanged in a Peter Alexander New Zealand retail store (excluding factory outlet stores). You must present the receipt you received in the store at the time you purchased your items.

PURCHASES MADE ONLINE

You can return or exchange an item purchased online:

  1. in any Peter Alexander retail store in New Zealand (excluding factory outlet stores); or
  2. by posting it to our Online Store Returns/Exchange address: Peter Alexander Sleepwear Pty Ltd, The Just Group - Kimbyr Investments, 38 Sir Woolf Fisher Drive, Highbrook 2161, Auckland NZ

In either case, you must present the receipt you received in your parcel & indicate the reason for the return or exchange.

Please note: all returns or exchanges remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by Peter Alexander. Please do not re-use our courier bag. Make sure your name, address, phone number and instructions are included. Comments would be appreciated. We cannot accept any prepaid satchels, envelopes, cash or stamps for re-delivery purpose. Unfortunately at this time Peter Alexander customers are not able to purchase in a factory outlet store for delivery to home or nominated address, or return or exchange Peter Alexander online orders in factory outlet stores.

REFUNDS – ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Provided the conditions in our refund & exchange policy have been met, refunds will be processed using the original form of payment. Please note that delivery costs will be excluded unless goods are returned in accordance with your statutory rights (eg. they are faulty or not as ordered).

EXCHANGES - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Provided the conditions in our refund & exchange policy have been met, you may exchange an item for something else from Peter Alexander. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. For online exchanges, please list alternative item(s) in case we have sold out of your first choice. Standard delivery charges apply on re-delivery for online exchanges, unless goods are exchanged in accordance with your statutory rights (eg. they are faulty or not as ordered).

Once your order has been despatched from our warehouse, we will send you a confirmation email that will contain a tracking number.

Simply visit the PBT tracking website, enter in your tracking number and you’ll be able to watch your Peter Alexander parcel get delivered straight to your door!

You can also find your tracking number in your Peter Alexander account. Simply log into your account and click MY ORDERS. This has all your Peter Alexander order history stored for your reference!
